Privacy Policy

Dubaisite.com is owned and operated in the United Arab Emirates. We follow UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law), DIFC DP Law 2020, and reference GDPR best practices for international users. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can stay in control.

Minimal collection

We only ask for details needed to run your account and keep the community trustworthy.

Session security

IP addresses and user agents are logged per session to detect suspicious sign-ins and comply with UAE cybercrime reporting duties.

Transparent control

You can request deletion of your profile data anytime by emailing privacy@dubaisite.com.

What we collect & why

Account data

Name, email, and theme preference keep your listings, reviews, favorites, and recently viewed items tied to you.

Listing views

We record each page view of a listing (listing ID, timestamp, anonymous viewer identifier) to calculate view counts and populate Recently Viewed sections.

Network & session logs

IP addresses, user agents, and timestamps are stored for each authenticated session to prevent fraud, troubleshoot login issues, and satisfy UAE cybercrime reporting duties.

Report submissions

When you report a listing, we store your user ID, the report reason, optional notes, and your IP address to prevent abuse and enable moderation. Reports are reviewed by administrators and may result in listing status changes.

Session IPs are retained for up to 180 days unless required longer for legal investigations. Listings and reviews may be retained longer to maintain platform integrity and comply with UAE data regulations.

Your rights

Right to access: request a summary of the personal data we store about you.
Right to correction: fix inaccurate profile fields, listing details, or business information.
Right to erasure: close your account via support@dubaisite.com and we will remove personal data not required by law.
Right to restriction: ask us to limit processing of your data while a dispute is under review.

Send verified requests to privacy@dubaisite.com or use the in-product support form. We respond within 30 days or sooner where mandated by law.

Data storage & transfers

Databases are hosted in the EU with encrypted backups in the UAE for redundancy. Cross-border transfers follow standard contractual clauses and UAE PDPL requirements.

Access to production systems is logged, MFA-protected, and limited to trained staff. Penetration testing is performed annually or after major architectural changes.
